Successful results after two months of investigation

When the crypto-purse Zaif was hacked, it lost 6.7 billion yen in BCH, BTC and MonaCoin combined. The platform then turned to experts related to Mitsubishi UFJ, a subsidiary of Japan Digital Design Co (JDD), which has resumed the investigation following a hackathon with Tokyo Western and El Plus (cybersecurity company).

Also, JDD would have been able to trace the transactions, or at least the addresses involved in the stolen funds movements just after the MonaCoins' theft.

Zaif, a platform exposed to risks

Whatever the outcome of these investigations, the Japanese crypto-purse can congratulate the cybercrime company for its saving analysis knowing that the hack had allowed the hackers to steal 966 BTC, BCH chips and MonaCoin valued at about 59 million dollars. (September course).
