A British court has sentenced a British-born hacker to three years in jail for having hacked the internet from the entire African state of Liberia.
The cyber attack is a 30-year-old man named Daniel Kay, who launched several attacks on Lunstar, a Liberian Internet service provider, in October 2015, and the force of the attack reached the point of cutting the Internet off Liberia altogether.

Daniel Kay acknowledged the incident, admitting that he had set up a huge botnet network and ridiculed it when he was living in Cyprus to carry out the "de dos" attacks on Lonestar.
The British crime agency said one of the senior employees of the company, "Cellcom" competition for the company "Lonestar" hired a British hacker for this purpose, but the investigation did not prove that the first was aware of it.
The head of the British agency, Mike Hollett, said that Daniel Kay was working as a "mercenary mercenary," and that his activities affected many businesses and companies around the world, and suffered losses millions of dollars.
Another case in which Kay was accused of carrying out cyber attacks on Germany Telecom, affected about one million customers in November 2016.
