Americans Targeted By Crypto Hackers

Americans are the target of crypto hackers, a Group-IB study reported.

Group-IB is a Russian based computer forensics and information security firm, who revealed their findings in a report titled “2018 Cryptocurrency Exchanges-User Accounts Leaks Analysis.”

The report reveled that the login information for crypto accounts was compromised 369% more in 2017, than in 2016.

January 2018 alone observed 689% a greater number of hacks than 2017.

More than 56% of the leaks involve US users.

Other countries on the list were Netherlands, Russia, Germany, and Ukraine.
