Utopian hack and saving of tokens

As some of you might have already noticed there was a breach in the security of utopian. Therefore all the rights of people who had give permissions to that website have had there accounts used to vote. I have some serious thoughts with the logic of storing that data in there databases? As there is no reason what so ever to do that. Anyone with 1 month teaching in building a site or a software knows you never store data like that if it is not 100% necessary.

But it got abused and now a lot of people have lost 10-20% voting power. In my case that is 3.8 steem token units in upvote gone. They gave a somewhat explanation. But I don’t believe them.

They state no wallets or keys where compromised. Any company that does not tell there users to change there password after an attack is not worthy of our time. Even though it might be true. They stated they initially thought it was a just a small service disruption. What I see is that my account got abused. And that is a fact.

Why did they even store the token in a database?
Who got access to those tokens?

They state we should undo the votes and so on. But NO WHERE do they state they will compensate the lost vote. It is because there bad management this has happened.

Just so you all know I give you a small guide on how to remove all un needed tokens floating around.

1. First go to https://v2.steemconnect.com/login
2. Now login user your info
3. Click on authorized apps
4. See witch once you want to revoke and do so
