Now Hackers can Hack you through your brainwaves!

A smart algorithm that can learn your passwords using stolen brainwave data.

Hackers can break PINs and passwords by monitoring brainwaves through the Electroencephalograph Earphones (EEG).

Research conducted by the University of Alabama in the United States found that if a person wears an EEG headset, they are used to control computer games by sensing brain patterns.

Although this may seem a little bit of science fiction for the technology, researchers have found through the consumer test that when a person enters a password or PINs, the headset captures the consumer's visual processing and head movements, as well as hand and eye movements and head muscles.

As explained by Nik Saksina, associate professor at the College of Arts and Sciences College of Arts and Sciences in Computer Science and Information:

In a real-world attack, hackers can facilitate the training steps required for malicious programs where they can be more accurate, by requiring the user to enter a predefined set of numbers in order to restart the game after stopping playing for a rest, similar to the method used Captcha to check users when logging into sites.

" These emerging devices open enormous opportunities for everyday users. However, they can also pose significant security and privacy threats, as companies are working on developing a more advanced interface for brain technology, especially when there is much talk about the security aspect."

But Saxina warned that it is important to monitor potential vulnerabilities in these emerging technologies. Adding that it is important to analyze potential security and privacy risks associated with this emerging technology to raise users' awareness of risks and develop viable solutions to malicious attacks.

This is interesting study. I assume it can be done in future!

Yeah be sure, so many thing will happen in the next 100y, For ex: in 100y they will find a solution to travel in the past
