The Good Vibes Contest: A New Found Friend
As my participation to the #goodvibescontest by @corina, I would like to share with you the friendship (for me at least) with @helenoftroy that had blossomed here in steemit.
When I joined this platform last January, I had no 'real' friends here unlike the others who have friends that are both friends in the outside world and here in our community. (I had managed to successfully invite two of my bestfriends here recently though.Yey!). More than a month or two into the platform, I stumbled upon the post of @helenoftroy about her twins and as my curiousity got the better of me, I checked her other blogs as well. Right then, I realized, there are angels here on Earth that walk among us; she is one of them. You may wonder why but I'll leave it up to you to discover it. 😊 (Hope your curiousity also prevail.) All I can say is she is a wonderful person and has a good soul. She is now a great inspiration for me to do better here in steemit and be the best mom for my daughter as she is with her girls. Our being, kinda-friends' started after my first comment on her post which eventually led us to checking out each other's post (with me being so fond of her girls, especially Squirt) and sharing ideas about the girls (our babies are almost the same age). I look forward to meeting her and the babies in person (which means, either we go to their place or she visits here in the Philippines 😊) someday (which will hopefully be realized thru steemit. 💪). But for now, a comment and response every once in a while will do.
Will always be grateful for steemit and for everything that it does for me; including finding a new friend I hope to have for keeps.
