OK, from the outset, let me say I'm not saying that there is something sinister going on here, but at the same time, I'm not so naive to think there couldn't be something sinister, especially since this deputy questioned what was really going on and was only 42 years old and in excellent health. Still, Broward County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Fitzsimons died on April 1, 2018, at his home on his sofa.

Deputy Fitzsimons, unlike Sheriff Scott Israel, questioned a lot of what was taking place following the Marjory Stoneman High School shooting that took place on February 14 of this year. And he wasn't a coward about it either.

Fitzsimons took to social media and questioned the agenda behind the shooting. He used his influence to point out exactly what David Hogg and company have been doing. Sharing a post from another Facebook user, he posted this.

The comment added to the picture, which was also shared, read, "Wake up America. Once The guns Are Gone Our Freedom Will Be Gone Too."

Fitzsimons also suggested that "the event was being used to promote the Democratic Party’s gun control platform in anticipation of the 2018 midterm elections," according to James Tracy.

But what happened to Fitzsimons? As the Broward County Sheriff's Office tweeted out the news of his death, many questioned the timing and cause, considering his pro-gun stance and apparent good health.

Some had justice for Scott Israel on their minds.

There are tons of comments like this. People don't trust those in authority anymore. They have not earned trust by saying one thing and doing another.

Fitzsimons had called in sick one day, and the next he was dead. Something seems amiss here.

Still, one obituary claims that Deputy Fitzsimons "died unexpectedly," and yet, others have referenced the official cause of death as cancer. A picture from March 23 on Facebook doesn't seem to present a man with cancer, certainly not in the latter stages anyways, and I have been unable to uncover this "official cause of death."

Fitzsimons was also praised in the obituary as a Christian.

"Jason was known by his friends as someone who was always there for them. He always seemed to have the right words for them and attributed his wisdom to the faith he had in his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. "
Not only was he known as a Christian, but one who honored the Constitution, as well.

Deputy Fitzsimons had been serving in law enforcement since 2008.

Is there more to the story of Deputy Fitzsimons, or was it merely an untimely death?
