Do you take your own safety personally ? If so show me your everyday carry and share your thoughts on #whyicarry. IMG_2977.JPG

Do you open or conceal carry ? Why ? Me personally, I'm a concealed guy, simply because I don't like the fact of drawing unnecessary attention.10366302_1247305975299061_7349530218192839041_n.jpg

Why do I carry ? That's easy, out of love. I've been fortunate thus far to surrounded by wonderful people. The love of my own life, my love for my family, and all those around me. As a husband, father, and grandfather it is my personal responsibility to protect and provide. 22540156_1908850235811295_2879566826712332588_n.jpg
So tell me how and why you carry. All the best to you, JerryT

I typically carry one of my S&W model 629 .44 magnum revolvers, of which I have a few with different barrel lengths. Given where I live and my general lifestyle, I figure that if I ever have to defend myself, there is a much higher probability that the aggressor will be a a bear or a wolf rather than a human, hence the need for a more powerful caliber like the .44 mag. Usually, I carry openly, but sometimes concealed, especially if I'm making a trip into town or something.

Hi nice to meet you, thanks for the reply. Great choice for your lifestyle, we only have black bears here in Arkansas and so far the ones I've crossed have exited faster than I could. I normally run around with a smaller caliber with six or eight shots, of course if I'm I'm traveling to the big city I'll up my capacity.

You conceal carry five guns every day? Man, I usually only conceal one, but it's a rifle!

In Canada, we can't do this but I am my own protection with following and practicing martial arts. This is how I can protect my family in best of ways :)

It's good that you take your safety seriously a lot of people expect someone else to look out for them. What kind of martial arts do you practice ?

Kuk Sool. It has a really great view on martial arts. It is not as offensive as others and straight to the point. Just started blue belt which is the 3rd belt in Kuk Sool and muscle memory is already there.

Sweet, good for you, stick with it.

I don't carry... yet. I'm still getting the hang of firing my guns. Until I feel more confident with my guns I don't plan on carrying. If I was around more gun toting patriots in my area, I could get through this apprehension issue a lot easier.

I've been carrying for a few years now. At first it was kind of awkward, felt like the whole world knew, constantly checking myself or tugging at my shirt to make sure it was covered. That anxiety gently went away, and now its habit, shoes, belt, pocket knife, wallet , and holster. I don't believe we are too far apart, I'm in central Ar.

It is the fact that I've gone full blown Sovereign that has me scared. Free men don't need permission to put a gun in their pocket. And because I'm one of these fanatics I'm considered a threat and dangerous by this corporate fascist government. Plus I'm disabled so that is two strikes against me because they are trying to disarm those who are disabled and in ANY way mental or not. So trying to be a gun toting patriot pulling this off as a gun rights activist all by myself is very hard. I've had visions of open carrying and having to deal with police challenging one of them to a duel. Which is why I do not understand why no open carry patriots out there who have had the cops called on them have challenged them to a duel yet. Just give up your guns letting yourself get kidnapped for doing absolutely nothing wrong but go for a walk with your gun. That is how I felt about this whole Open Carry Texas thing. And in Texas too of all places!!! I figured they would be shooting by now LOL. If you are ballzy enough to open carry then I would think you would be ballzy enough to be a patriot. Seriously I'm ready to die for my country. And like Thomas Paine, my country is the world.

Not sure how long you've been in Ar, but you now have constitutional carry.

I've been back in Arkansas for a year now. I have old roots here. I went to school here finishing off high school. As of right now I'm in an off grid location in Madison county. I met my wife back in 2006 when I started waking up to all of this getting radical. We kept in touch over a decade which is how I ended up moving back here after all these years. I've been kidnapped once already for traveling. If the price of Bitcoin would go back up I can buy a truck turning it into my new Sovereign Mobile getting back out there on the road. I feel that I need get kidnapped a few more times till I finally get it right before I try being an open carry patriot. I seriously see myself getting killed if I open carry and the cops show up. I figure once Arkansas knows who I am and leaves me alone and lets me travel, then I can open carry and not have to worry. I still have yet to finish changing my status which I haven't quite figured out how to do. The whole Secured Party Creditor route. My goal is to one day be able to go traveling through town with my AR-15 displayed in the back window without a care in the world. No license, registration, insurance, AR-15 in the back window... freedom personified LOL. But will I get myself killed before I make it that far? That is the challenge.

May I ask your age ?

Age is but a number but I am 33.
