Gun Control is BS…

All the mass shootings at schools all happened at a gun free zone.. That alone should tell you that the criminals and the crazies don’t give a crap about gun control or gun free zones. Anyone can go on the dark web and buy a gun.. So if a criminal or a crazy wants a gun they can get one. Go to Youtube and you can find videos on making homemade guns, everything from zip guns, potato guns, to homemade shotguns.

Gun free zones and more gun control won’t help the situation, the liberals have been pushing that agenda for as long as I can remember and all it has done is make a bad situation, an occurrence that happens so often it's now more of just a statistic then a shock.

If school officials had concealed carry with training they would have the power to stop situations like this. Gun limitations and gun free zones only apply to law abiding citizens and make them nothing more than targets and vulnerable to violent crimes.

A U.S. Justice Department study found:
42% of Americans will be the victim of a completed violent crime (assault, robbery, rape) in the course of their lives.

83% of Americans will be the victim of an attempted or completed violent crime.

52% of Americans will be the victim of an attempted or completed violent crime more than once.

A 1997 survey of more than 18,000 prison inmates found that among those serving time for a violent crime, “30% of State offenders and 35% of Federal offenders carried a firearm when committing the crime.”

A 2013 study of more than 18,000 prison inmates found that in 2004, about “16% of state prison inmates and 18% of federal inmates” reported having a firearm during the commission of the crime for which they were incarcerated.

In 1976, the Washington, D.C. City Council passed a law generally prohibiting residents from possessing handguns and requiring that all firearms in private homes be (1) kept unloaded and (2) rendered temporally inoperable via disassembly or installation of a trigger lock. The law became operative on Sept. 24, 1976.

Looking at the Washington DC statistics you can see the only result of more gun control was an increases in murder rates for the area.

In 1994 the liberals got the first of their major gun control laws passed and a mere 5 years later we experienced one of the largest mass shootings that took the lives of our young.

Removing guns from law abiding citizens has done nothing but allow these tragedies to continue to be common place.

If a person is committed and predisposed to committing an act of violence on such a mass scale, the only thing that will stop them is someone prepared, trained, and capable of defending life. It’s time to tell the liberals that we are tired of being held to the mercy of the criminals and the mentally ill, while we wait for standard emergency response times.
