- It took the United States government’s Department of Justice an entire study dedicated to gun use and criminals to figure out what logical human beings have already understood for decades. The result of their own study found that gun control laws will never work because criminals will never use legal channels to obtain guns.
It's pretty obvious that if guns are outlawed then only outlaws will have guns.
More guns, less crime. Criminals are cowardly bullies. Even if they DO have guns they're likely to not victimize anyone that they think will fight back. If they think everyone has a gun?

True but remember that the primary purpose of gun ownership isn't for protection from criminals, but protection from the state.
You can take non violent measures to protect yourself from the common thief e.g. moving to a safer area. But there is nothing to protect you from the long arm of the government except for a gun.

You're right though..which is why assault weapon (weapons of war) SHOULD be legal for any citizen to own.
They are only interested in impinging on our rights and freedoms and gaining more power for themselves.

That is a very accurate analogy IMO. They crave legitimacy, and have to butt in to feel like they still matter. In very simplistic terms. lol ;)
