Free Fallin' Guitar Tutorial - John Mayer - GuitarZero2Hero

Welcome to Throwback Thursday's where I teach you a classic hit from the last 4-5 decades! This week, by request, I'll be covering a Free Fallin' Guitar Tutorial from John Mayer - originally written and performed by Tom Petty (R.I.P Tom). For this particular lesson i'll be running through John's live version from the Where The Light Is DVD which is one of my favourite music DVD's of all time. John actually plays this in the same key as the original so play learning this version, you are essentially learning the Tom Petty version too. In this video I cover the main fingerpicking parts as well as a standard strumming pattern you can use throughout the whole song.
