That's what really gets to me... I thought that this delegated voting was to be based on trust... It seems the people that are being powered up by the whales either with political (you consistently agree with my pov) votes or delegated self up votes.

The next problem we are going to have is when we have lots of new users, those in power are just going to continue to behave entitled since they've been given the power to without any repercussion for abusing it. It seems @ned isn't publicly commenting on his view on the issue.

I have doubts that the real problem at hand can be solved by delegated voting. The real problem is a community break down and the solution has to come from not some algorithm or technology but from the community holding themselves accountable. Right now is all about pointing fingers and hoarding as much steem as possible for that day that the price rises which doesn't come as long as everybody acts selfishly.
