WAGMI had a nice week, and so did SPA, HEC, and PAPA
It is Wednesday again, meaning that it is time for us to come with our weekly update in the IP Address Guide on our OlympusDAO fork experiment. Don't know what it is? We decided to invest in 11 different OHM forks and then we follow the progress of the investment from week to week to see which will be the best performing fork in the end.
At first, the plan was to run the experiment for one month, but seeing that one month has passed, we are now for sure going to keep it running for a couple of more months. After all, this isn't a sprint but a marathon, meaning that time will be the real test for most of these tokens.
What do I mean?
Wonderland has been doing great most of the time, but still, it has also had a price decline, for example in the last days. But, we still trust in Wonderland and that it will be around for a long time due to the leadership and all the developers working on the project. But, we are not convinced that other projects like FortressDAO, MagnetDAO, and PapaDAO will be strong enough to keep it up if they suffer for months with price decrease. So, that is what will make this such an interesting experiment.
Results from last week!
As we already mentioned in the topic, WAGMI, SPA, HEC, and PAPA were the winners last week. That doesn't mean that these are the best projects with the best results in general, but only that they produced the best results (and the biggest value increase compared to the week before in the period between December 29th and January 5th).
If we look at the overall standings, HectorDAO is currently the number one project, followed by Wonderland and OlympusDAO. That shouldn't come as a surprise, because these are products that clearly have great developers and that are constantly working on their online presence and developing their protocols.
FortressDAO is one I want to mention as well, they are standing mostly still in value, but they are working hard on a stable coin and this is actually a project that might have a future. It should also be mentioned that MetaversePro and MagnetDAO has entered the experiment as of today, taking the spots of TaiChi who rugged and JadeProtocol who seems to be a teenager just experimenting with the money of investors and doing things whenever he feels like... and they also stopped with their rebase rewards, meaning that it is no longer interesting for the experiment either.
