I was not expecting Darkrai to return until the Halloween event. I'm honestly kinda bummed out that they're letting it return now, but on the other hand it's also an opportunity.
It's a great opportunity to get some candy. And he'll be number one contender against Lugia in three weeks.

True true, it's just timed unfortunately for me as I spent a bunch of Rare Candy to max one recently. At least I can build up some new candies in case I wanna max another one :D
