Surely the first thing that goes through your mind is that it is absurd and that I am crazy, but nothing is further from reality, since there is a social network, where you can earn cryptocurrencies with just post. This social network is Steemit and what we get in exchange for publishing content on it are Steem Dolars and Steem Power. There is a small drawback and that is the income we receive by the votes of other users, so making attractive content is important for us to vote and get cryptocurrencies and here we will explain how it works.

WHAT IS STEEMIT?

Steemit is a social network based on the blockchain of STEEM, a cryptocurrency which is mined based on the social network and whose capital is distributed among users through the Steem Dolars, a cryptocurrency based on the blockchain of STEEM. What interests us is that the social network replaces the traditional blogs, portals to share stories and so on, earning revenue in cryptocurrencies directly, according to the quality of our content. The better it is, the more we can obtain. The content is free, you can publish anything, always within the aesthetic and legal margins. One of the most important differences with other social networks, is that it is open, anyone can see your content and content in bad taste, to call it in some way is penalized. Content of bad taste can be content for adults, badly seen by the community and all the users that upload this content usually have accounts with enough negative votes or flags.

HOW DO I ACCESS?

Well, anyone can register with Steemit, the idea is to register as more people, better and generate content. We just have to go to the web and enter the registration data. It is different from other sites, in which you register, but you have to wait a certain amount of time before being admitted, since they directly send you the password to access after a few hours. I do not know anyone who has not been admitted. The confirmation email with the password can take a couple of hours or a couple of days, depending on the volume of requests. There is something we must take into account and that under no circumstances can we choose the password, or enter a password, this is generated automatically and is extremely secure. The password should be saved as gold in cloth, because if we lose it, there is no possibility of recovering the password, therefore it is recommended to save in several places, even, I would say that it is worth having it in physical mode, printed, in case the flies.

I'M INSIDE, NOW WHAT?

Once the account is created, the ideal is to put a profile picture and fill in the description and other user information, before doing anything. Another interesting thing is to go around the different tags or hashtags that appear in the right area and see what content moves, which is published in each space and others. The largest communities are English-speaking and the South Korean community, although the Spanish-speaking community (hashtag Spanish) is growing a lot and many initiatives are generated, which I will tell you later.

START PUBLISHING

The first post is usually a presentation, a brief description of who you are and that you intend to upload to the social network. The elaborated texts are held in very good consideration, so do not cut out words. If you want to generate a text enriched with images, links or with highlighted parts of the text, before publishing on the social network there are several guides and tutorials on how to enter it. Many of the HTML commands are supported, so you can also search for commands in HTML format to enrich the text.

Below you will see a preview, where you can see how the text will be after being published. The title should be as attractive as possible, like anywhere. Regarding the tags, if you are going to write in Spanish, I recommend that the first one is 'spanish' and then enter the ones you want. A maximum of five tags or hashtags are allowed, separated only by spaces, with nothing else. For all those who present themselves, other recommendable tags are 'steemit' and 'introduceyourself'.

WHAT CONTENT TRIUMPH?

It is very difficult to say this content if or this content does not, the important thing is to cure it and everything will grow and you will see what content stands out. You can take it as if it were your personal blog, counting your things, you can count your trips, things that interest you, tutorials or write stories, the limit is only you. VOTES, WITH MODERATION The social network has something that resembles karma and is the voting power, which depends on the user level. If we are new and during the first days until we charge, our vote will be quite insignificant and as we go up in level, our vote will be worth more every time (beware, cents, do not get confused). Something that we must take into account is the power of the vote, which we must always have between 90-100%, since it is when our vote is more relevant, if it goes down from those values, it becomes less and less irrelevant, this is made to avoid picaresque and that people vote indiscriminately.

THE WHALES OR CURATORS

There are users on the network who are called 'whales' or 'healers', they are those who have a lot of time and have a lot of Steem Power and who can choose how much money they give to each of the users. These move in another league and get big capitals with very little. These have a lot of Steem Power, more than 500, which means that they get revenues from everything that is mined in Steemit every hour, which if I remember correctly, they are 600-800 STEEM per hour (I do not remember it well, but there is a post that explain it better). There are not many, but there are enough. Especially in the Hispanic community we have Cervantes, among others, what they do is vote different users post, to empower the community and share part of the benefits they get for being so big, which is another of the 'obligations' of the whales, share part of the benefits. Cervantes has several sub-accounts like Sancho Panza, Don Quixote, Simón Bolívar and others, who are voting for the posts they consider to be of the highest quality (do not go begging, it's very ugly)

COMPETITIONS OF THE HISPANIC COMMUNITY

I recommend everyone to look for the different contests that take place in the Hispanic community, since they are a good place to get known and get capital. These contests are open to all users and have certain rules and hashtags, so I recommend researching what there is. SpanishChallenge and Cervantes organize the two most important competitions, but there are other smaller ones, which are gaining popularity. The SpanishChallenge goes for its eighteenth edition and started with very few participants, less than a dozen, but now a lot of people participate and it has been divided between story and poetry.

HISPANIC COMMUNITY IN DISCORD

A small chat has been generated in Discord for all of us who interact with the 'Spanish' hashtag, to share our content, chat about different things or ask questions. There you will find the general chat, to chat and specific channels where you can share your tickets in a comfortable and simple way. I must tell you that in the general chat it is forbidden to post the posts we generate in Steemit, there are already specific channels for this.

REMOVE MONEY

What we are charging is distributed automatically in Steem Dolars and Steem Power. The network allows in an internal pool to change the Steem Dolars directly to STEEM. The Steem Power can not be changed and it is better not to touch it, but to increase it and less to give Power Down, that's a bad idea, it's best to leave it and go up little by little. Take it out, we can take it out easily, we just have to have a portfolio in any pool of the network and take it there. I recommend Bittrex, which works best, since Poloniex has the portfolio of STEEM and Steem Dolars deactivated every two minutes and we can spend days until we have our money in Poloniex. Personally, I started using Bittrex for this reason. The transfer of capital can take minutes or an hour, depends on the volume of operations in Bittrex, but the capital arrives and there we can change it for Bitcoin and these for the currency that we want.

CONCLUSION

Personally it has been almost a month since I use it and the truth is that it is very good and it is worth it especially to participate in the contests that are held to be seen and create content on a regular basis. Participating in the Discord community is also very interesting. Those with a good level of English can choose to publish the entry in Spanish and English, to gain more visibility. I hope you are encouraged to enter.
