Ron deSantis is evil.

Ron deSantis authorized torturing inmates at Guantanamo, and labeled all of them "unlawful combat terrorists." He opposed treating inmates-- held without charge, much less trial-- as though they have constitutional rights, which was part of his opposition to closing Guantanamo and moving the prisoners to a "supermax" facility in the United States.

Former prisoners swear that they recognize him as the man they pleaded with to get humane treatment, who told them he would make it happen, and then watched as they continued to be tortured.

This evil should follow the man throughout his campaign for president and the rest of his life.
