Early pregnancy
What is it?
Early pregnancy, also called teenage pregnancy, is one that occurs when a woman is in her puberty stage (between the ages of 10 and 19, according to the World Health Organization). This term is also used to designate those pregnancies of women who have not reached legal age in the country in which they reside.
When pregnancy occurs during the adolescence stage, the girl is fertile but is experiencing the natural hormonal changes of this stage, that is, it is not yet developed, which can have serious consequences for both the boy and the mother.
Although early pregnancy was considered a typical problem in third world countries, it is increasingly common to find cases among adolescents in developed countries. Most of these pregnancies are not desired, but are the consequences of violations or lack of real knowledge on the subject; On other occasions, early pregnancy is the result of teenagers' desire to experience unprotected sex.
