Can GSENetwork solve the cost issues plagueing the sharing economy?

When uber was founded, the amount of convenience and affordability it accorded to its users propelled into a billion-dollar company in record time. People just loved that you could hail a vehicle to where you are using just a phone and at only a fraction of the costs offered by cab companies. Uber played this predatory pricing strategy perfectly, they manipulated all the data they had accumulate to finesse their users.

The GSENetwork is trying to prevent this from ever happening, through its decentralized platform it will get rid of companies like Uber who can sometimes 'misuse user data' and allow service providers to connect directly with their users.

The seamlessness companies like uber provides gives you the impression that you’re working at decentralized level which isn't true because all the infrastructure is stored at a central location and are therefore subject to hacks.

This Network is anti scam

GSENetwork utilizes a technology that spreads data across thousands of nodes across different networks to add that extra security and to ensure no firm has control over it, GSENetwork will use smart contract technology to facilitate all the transactions and even provide users with GSETokens that can be used within the platform. The GSETokens will also be used to encourage user participation within the ecosystem because it

Uber has monopolized the car sharing industry and can therefore set whatever prices they like, and they have through their upfront pricing model. Whereby you're charged per mile.

The GSE Network wants to build a network that will counter issues with trust that have prevented the sharing economy from reaching its true potential. GSE wants everyone to participate freely and in a collaborative manner. By adopting a Delegated Proof of Stake mechanism, the company stands to introduce a new way of dealing with bulk transactions because the number of blockchain nodes available will vary according the demand available. By interacting on the chain and real-world data (e.g. data from GPS and IoT devices) the company will also be able to boost communication processes between different channels.

I know that's a lot of Greek but in short here's how the system will work. A rider will enter their location and the place they need to be. Once they click a button, the system will reach out to the anti-fraud module this is to ensure everything checks out and that there is no scam. Once complete the system will match the driver with the rider as well as relaying the rider's info to the driver so they can assess their profile and credit rating. If accepted the transaction will take place

To be fair, uber isn't completely at fault. Drivers have also developed new methods of trickery as they aim to make more profits at the riders’ expense. For example, Uber drivers in the United States and United Kingdom collaborate to manipulate the platforms algorithms thus causing a rigged 'scarcity' this deficit will bring about something called surge pricing whereby the application will raise prices to match supply to demand.

No Fake Identity

This spells bad news for the platforms, however by implementing Pricing modules and a proprietary anti-fraud module that allow for user activities to be recorded on the blockchain. This module will spot every sham user as well as identify when someone provides false information. This kind of technology is super important because through it users can be notified of drivers who have been flagged as offering poor service. The benefit of this model is that since all the technology is encrypted and spread across different ledgers, it's impossible for the subject in question to tamper with that data well without causing any suspicion that is.

One other concept that has a lot of potential is GSE's pricing module, which allows to control their own prices based on their preferences all though algorithm technology, In the case of a car sharing startup riders can through a provided template set rules that will govern their entire transaction and only be applicable according to how able they are, with payment etc. for example they can set flexible rules for pricing according to factors such as weather and road traffic

Important Information.

By December 2018, GSENetwork would have released the company’s wallet 3.0 as well as their DService, the company wants to get everything right which is why users will need to wait until 2019 to participate in the beta program of the public chain. While you're here make sure you visit the company's official to learn more about what else their offering plus how you can participate. You can also peruse the company's issued
