The Steemit In Nigeria crew wishes to first of all appreciate everyone for their immense support towards the successful completion of the steemit in Nigeria event.

There is nothing better than an organized event and the best way is to have a successful event is o have a well structured program of events, using all the technological tools of information dispersal at your disposal.
The first was good, but now we have to be even better than before, we have to learn from past errors and make this even more grand.

Introduction

Steemit In Nigeria, the first ever stride to bring about mass adoption of steemit and the steem block chain in the Nigerian market was brought about by the zeal to form a "STEEMified" future for all Nigerians.
Through the blockchain, unemployment rate has reduced and self employment rate has risen sufficiently. Through several efforts by numerous individuals, a lot of Nigerians now earn decently courtesy of the benevolence of the steem blockchain.

The proof of work can be seen through activities from teams like the Steemit In Nigeria crew, steem Lagos crew, stach crew, Africa unchained among others.
These dedicated teams have given tireless hours towards the growth of the steem blockchain, thereby taking care of one important aspect, that is the population boost the blockchain needs.

Secondly, the proof of work can also be seen trough the amount of registered users that came through these individuals. A lot of effort has been put into getting registered users to remain on the platform and among which is the mentorship group known as the genesisproject ( @genesis-project) dedicated to uplifting people and preparing them for what the platform really entails.

I wish to challenge the unemployment status figures in Nigeria, as I believe that the steem blockchain has greatly dropped the amount of unemployed individuals roaming the streets.
That being said, I believe the system which the blockchain serves to promote has already proven itself to be a success in less than two years.

A system where your connections are not needed to get employed, a system where your employer does not have to take your ideas from you and give you peanuts at the end of each month, sometimes owing you for months on end.
For those who don't know, the blockchain is not simply post and earn, the steem blockchain through steemit.com has established a system where people anyone with a vision can be anything.

We have a blockchain store for Nigerians ( @mymarket ), we have other numerous projects coming up and already being established.
If you look at it closely, what was once thought to be a virtual fantasy, has now become a total reality, helping steemit.com to break the 500,000+ sign ups and a boost in the latest Alexa rankings.

The journey into the future

The idea is not to start a great project, but to be able to sustain and maintain it to ensure the continuity and survival. A few people might be familiar with the popular rhyme...Good, better, best, I will never rest, until my good is better, and my better best.

The journey has indeed gone from just being good, to being the best. The Steemit In Nigeria crew in a bid to foster unity and work with each other, thereby promoting pace in the community and better the blockchain.
We have decided to incorporate our work with some teams in an effort to make the Steemit In Nigeria push even better. I once said we have completed or we have put the ball in motion for the phase one which is the mass population and mass adoption of the blockchain.

The journey has moved into the second phase which like I earlier stated, is the bringing in of investors or becoming steem investors. The investors can also bring in investments into the blockchain which is the goal of the Steemit In Nigeria team.
Examples of investments which push for mass adoption of what steem has to offer include the Steemit In Nigeria initiative, @mymarket, @redfishpillar, @steem-virus, @steem-lagos, @stach steemcamp,@africaunchained and so many others.

If we can get steem to have varying uses in different walks of life, we can get it to become the next Bitcoin in terms of price range and acceptance because the steem blockchain is one of the best out there, with zero transaction fees within the network, a DPOS system and the best part, fast transaction speed for numerous transactions without any negative effect on the blockchain.
The steem blockchain can do more and wants to do more and Nigerians are ready to take the lead.

Our calendar of the year for SIN'18

The Steemit In Nigeria 2 (Abuja 2018) already has plans underway and this time it promises to be better. We have met with some people with similar ideas for the blockchain and have offered to work with them to make 2018 a year the blockchain will remember.

We have partnered with the steemit campus invasion team led by @destinysaid to take steemit and entertainment to the campuses round Nigeria fusing it with entertainment. Read more on his blog here

Another great partnership we are doing is with the steem camp team to host the first ever blockchain beauty pageant and camp. The initiative is led by @michaelcj. Read more on his blog here

Registration for the Steemit In Nigeria 2018 in November in Abuja will commence in January online to reduce stress and give people a lot of time to comfortably prepare for the upcoming event. Also registration for the steem camp will be open soon which will also be an online process.
