Steemit development - Trending Tagged

Since my post last night about the trending page was so warmly received...

Another attempt:
Is it possible to have a 'Trending Tagged' option.

How I see this working:
I can add tags that I am interested in to a field
eg. photography steemit marketing development cryptocurrency puppies ned philosophy death

And they become followed tags that appear in a tailored stream for me that I can sort by new, trending, hot etc.

It may also be possible that tags are able to be added/removed easily from the tag links themselves. That way, a topic that may be interesting in the short-term like 'pumpkins' can be followed and then easily removed from the stream as the novelty wears off.

Tailoring the feed a little can also make new things that one is interested in more visible without it being lost as quickly through the increasing onslaught of what is submitted.

This may have pay-offs for both the viewer and the content providers as they have more chance of finding each other and making sweet, beautiful Steem together.

How about that idea? Any better? Worse? Thumbs up/down?
