IDEA: Steemit Poetry Book

Hi, Steemians. I saw @andrarchy 's last post on Steemit growth and I have an idea that combines something I am interested in, something I am skilled at, and something that would benefit the steemit community.

Here's my idea:

What is the problem?

There is no physical offline publication of Steemit poetry.

There is no physical offline method to promote steemit to writers and poets.

What is the solution?

A Steemit Poetry Journal.

1. This could be a simple journal with 50-75 poems that are voted for on the Steemit blockchain.

2. It can provide a tangible way to be introduced to the steemit community.

3. The project can leverage my experience with assembling content and publishing (Bitcoin Magazine, Thought & Color poetry book).

4. On average it takes about 3 months to write 50-75 pages of poems. And 10 hours to arrange art and poetry with another 10 hours to make original art for each group of poems. Getting a book can be as inexpensive as a few dollars through create space (color cover, black and white pages).

How will you prove your project was a success?

Costs to produce, advertise, and ship break even with the proceeds from digital and print sales.

1. I want to start with a low bar because I am uncertain of the demand for this product.
