An Opportunity We Are Fortunate To Have

A Unique Time To Be Alive

I can't help but think daily about how lucky we are to be in the position we are today. There has been so many past years all with the perks and the negatives on being alive during those times. And although it is truely a matter of opinion, I believe this to be the absolute best time to be alive to far. The internet has opened the global society to a revolutionary change in the way information is exchanged. I think people kind of just take it for granted and that most people are kind of numb to how amazing this really is. For the first time in history we live in a time where you can visit the other side of the world without ever leaving your house. You can cliff dive in Peru from your Lazyboy recliner. Maybe not physically but you can see it, hear it, and almost feel it. You can speak with people on the other side of the planet. You can learn about cultures without ever reading (although I think reading is very important and shouldn't be replaced entirely with videos), the list goes on and on. Its not just the internet, its a global network connecting everyone of us.

Do What Feels Good

What I believe is the most amazing aspect of all of this is the opportunity that it brings in terms of business. Steemit is only one of those opportunies. Many people don't even realize it but anyone with some drive and passion that is connected to the internet has an almost endless opportunity to make money. Whats even more amazing is that on the internet you can make money in almost any niche or category because it turns out that there are other people on the planet that enjoy and seek the same kinds of things that you like. So, instead of being the consumer you can become the create if you so choose. Instead of just reading articles on some blogging website, you can create the articles. Instead of watching youtube videos about fishing or cooking you too can make the videos about the same thing and chase whatever dream you may have. The one caveat is that you must be willing to create in some form or another.

Find What Drives You And Use It

People are motivated by different things. Some people want recognition, some want money, some want power, some want love... its different for everyone. Sometimes life can be hard for all of us. We all travel different roads but we are all headed to the same place. Its really easy to forget sometimes that we are all going through the struggle of life together, at the same speed. Just in different places in different situations with different circumstances and networks of people around us. It's really easy to become content and not really drive yourself forward but instead become comfortable where you are at, and for some people thats absolutely ok. But if you feel unfulfilled just remember that there is endless amounts of opportunity out there for you thanks to the internet. If you are willing to to put in the effort, you can turn your passions into your job. Has someone else done what you want to do? Were they a human just like you? If they did it then so can you.

One of my new passions is obviously gardening and growing. Everyone seems to be getting sick with cancer and I find myself more and more worried about what my family consumes. That has lead me to wanting to grow my own food and once I started man was I hooked. It's a long journey before I will make profit growing foods, it turns out that its and extremely competitive industry but I believe someday I will make money growing food for others in some form or fashion. But for now I will focus on growing the foods my family eats and do what I can to keep them healthy. Thanks for reading and have a great day!
