Gridcoin Romania: Gathering Call
Hi everyone,
Using public available data, I created a list of Gridcoin members that used Romania as the home country in their BOINC profiles, and have a Total Credit higher than 1 million. Unfortunate, out of 19 people, only 9 seems to be active (having a non zero RAC):

I'm looking to get in contact with as many Romanians as possible, to establish a strong community, and use this as an opportunity to locally promote the Gridcoin initiative. I know, for privacy reasons, some of you would like to remain anonymous, and I will respect your decision. Still, i hope we can establish at least a local core team.

I have a long history (11 years :) )on Boinc and IBM's World Community Grid, up to last month, when I switched to ZEC and XMR mining as an alternative to help out. I will return to Boinc and WCG at the end of the month. I don't know what Gridcoin is but I will read about it.

Gridcoin is an altcoin that is distributed to people based on their contribution to a list of BOINC projects (it is called Proof-of-Research) . I checked and yes, both your projects (GRUGrid & WorldCommunityGrid) are in the whitelist, so you would qualify to receive Gridcoins (GRC is trading today at $0.06). Please go to gridcoin.us as a starting point. I can also help you with more details, if needed.

Of course! Would you like to share your CPID or BOINC username with us? My plan is to setup a discord channel and to discuss there, but now I'm only collecting data.

I'm Romanian and I sometimes mine Gridcoin on grcpool.com. I don't have enough yet to stake on my own.
