Gridcoin update 3.5.9.9 ideal for Raspberry Pi users

to the gridcoin devs, the latest upgrade to gridcoin reasearch appears to be much more efficient on my Raspberry Pi
Its now typically using around 0.7%-1.0% of one cpu core while staking. Occasionally boosting to around ~13%.
Thats truly awesome guys, well done!

Thanks for the post and comments, i'm not yet into mining with the Pi but it sounds fun and interesting, but is it profitable compared to electricity cost ? can please you give some numbers?
i'm working on SteemPi a dashboard/web-interface for the Pi (not a good programmer but it is coming together ) and maybe want to look into including a miner, because with SteemPi the Pi is already always on and connected to the internet.

Im on a Pi3b with the Gridcoin wallet, I have BOINC running on this and on a Pi2b as well. The Pi2 hosts my SolarCoin wallet.

Someone did a really good post on SBCs (Single Board Computers), I forget who, I think they settled on the Odroid UX4 as the best to do BOINC on, so consider which you prefer to buy first.
Yes its nice to stake 24/7 to support the network and get a constant flow of staking rewards.
