Now you can receive Gridcoin even if you mine something else and receive Bitcoin or Litecoin (nicehash or zpool, for instance). Currently only these two currencies supported. You can use my site hivepool for semi-automatic conversion.

Also you can use this for converting faucet withdraws from Bitcoin or Litecoin faucets, like freebitco.in or coinpot.co into Gridcoin.

Instruction

Create your own account on hivepool:

Select 'Deposit' tab and request bitcoin or litecoin deposit address. It takes about hour to create new address.

When addresses generated you will see something like that:

Withdraw BTC or LTC to that address, wait 10 confirmations and go to 'Withdraw' tab. You can withdraw everything, but Gridcoin is better choice, right? Enter your address here and click 'send withdraw request'

You can check your withdraw status in 'Payouts' tab. Payouts sent every 30 minutes.

That's all.

Limitations

That function works with small amounts of BTC/LTC, even you deposit pair of Bitcoins service cannot convert them. Recommended deposit size is below 0.01 BTC.

Reverse conversion

Reverse conversion also possible, but not tested yet. It works in manual mode, but it works. Use it with caution. Ask me if something goes wrong.
