Graph:
As you see in the graph, there is no red line. That means that project hivepool.arikado.ru, where you might get any cryptocurrency for monero mining is not used at all. That site will be shut down in nearest time.
Faucet
Yes, there is faucet exists. I did it as demo for one of reddit posts. And one user is found and using it! :) There are 306 claims from him.
- Claimed: 3.73 GRC
- Rate: 0.01 GRC per hour
I don't like faucets where you receive something without efforts, so no URL here. If you find it by youself - you are welcome :)
Gridcoin is an open source cryptocurrency (Ticker: GRC) which securely rewards volunteer computing performed upon the BOINC platform in a decentralized manner on top of proof of stake. BOINC (Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing) is a distributed Internet platform launched beginning of 2002 and rewards participants with credits for performed work. BOINC is an application available for multiple Operating Systems and utilises the unused CPU and GPU cycles on computers to perform scientific work.
...306 faucet claims by a single user? Have you considered that might be a bot?
Indistinguishable from human. 306 claims for 2 months. From 2 to 10 per day (average is 5). Irregular intervals. Only two IPs.
Only suspicious thing is claims not grouped to hours.
I'll add random field to check :)
He ignored big text about promo code and continue to claim as is, now I think that was a bot.
Didn't know that you created a coinhive miner for users to get reward in any altcoin. Maybe other coin users are more interested in such a feature than Gridcoin users? Maybe worth to advertise it on /r/cryptocurrency =)
That thing will take part of my time and money (because manual payouts, because I got nothing until payout limit from coinhive reached), I think better will be use that time for pool improvements
