WU availability for Gridcoin whitelisted projects - 7/Feb/18

in #gridcoin7 years ago

Here is the weekly work-unit (WU) availability update for whitelisted Gridcoin projects.

This week we saw the first batch of beta WUs for Sourcefinder but as it is a test only, we shouldn’t consider this to provide a steady stream of work-units. While looking at the Server status page this afternoon, Sourcefinder indeed ran out of work again. For the time being, I will continue to include the chart below to give you a view how the output for this project is developing.

In the previous update I already mentioned that Universe@home would stop generating new tasks due to technical reasons and you can now observe it in the credit allocation, which is reducing rapidly. Based on forum discussions it seems likely that no work will be available in the coming weeks. The latest developments can be found here.

Last week LHC@Home had a database issue resulting in delayed task generation where existing tasks needed to be cleaned up first. Unfortunately, this activity is taking longer than expected due to various reasons and no new work-units are generated yet. The project team is working hard to resolve it as quick as possible and the latest update can be found here.

Finally the amount of work for SRBase is currently limited due to time constraints of the project developer keeping the pipeline filled. Let’s see how this develops in the coming weeks.

And here is the overall status of last week's allocated credits for whitelisted projects.

Has Odlk1 been removed from the whitelist? It is currently listed in "Excluded" and I've lost my magnitude from this project.

It wasn't included in the latest superblock for whatever reseon. It should be back in the next one.

For me the ODLK1 server (https://boinc.multi-pool.info/latinsquares/) is not available since around 2 weeks. Or is it just me?
