WU availability for Gridcoin whitelisted projects (27/Dec/17)

Here is another work-unit (WU) availability update for Gridcoin whitelisted projects.

Gridcoin is an open source cryptocurrency (Ticker: GRC) which securely rewards volunteer computing performed upon the BOINC platform in a decentralized manner on top of proof of stake (source: 1).

All projects except for two had sufficient available WUs last week:

DrugDiscovery@home did increase its WU output and is moving to "Green" status
Sourcefinder@home still suffers insufficient WUs in its third consecutive week, which means there are just enough WUs available to keep a few systems fully loaded.

Finally the table with all whitelisted projects.

Seems like there is no problem with wu for most of projects.

Except for Sourcefinder, which is really an issue now for 3 weeks, the rest looks good indeed.

I have read elsewhere that some projects WU's are very dependant on completed WU's results and so can't issue new WU's until they get completed ones back. This makes it look like they are running low on work, but in actual fact you completing a task allows for another one to be issued, so you would be unlikely to run out work.

I think gpugrid is one these types of project, but i'm not sure on others. Does anyone else know?
