Gridcoin weekly trends – 16/Oct/2017
Here is another Gridcoin weekly trends update.
This week I would like to present a project where we, as Gridcoin team, have been very successful over the past 2 months: Rosetta@home (http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/).
Rosetta@home is run by the Baker laboratory at the University of Washington and focusses on protein structure prediction.
It is one of the big 4 BOINC projects and has a huge active userbase which makes it a serious challenge to grow our project contribution quickly.
Nevertheless, in the past 2 months we have more than doubled our RAC output resulting in overall project contribution of 8% (or 70% increase). Well done everybody crunching on this project!
Now to the graphs, hope you find them useful.

Interesting! Thank you for the statistics and graphing and taking the time to do so , I look forward to future posts per other projects and or your experience. I just moved all my Android devices to Rosetta a few weeks ago to tie all my ARM devices to 1 project plus being a hometown project and local to me here in Seattle we treat the U.W. like we do the Seahawks for home town/team support here so to me Boinc and Rosetta is like the N.F.L. but for us geeks!
Good to see you use your Android devices for Rosetta. I'm using an old tablet for 2 years (!) already to support TheSkyNet POGS (my favourite project). Its great that there is a nice choice of projects for this device now.
