Gridcoin/BOINC footer in Steemit articles

In the past months I’ve received several times an interest from team member for the footer I use in my Steemit articles.

Because the footer is HTML code based, you have some interesting options to integrate text and images and make it look better. Today I would like to share my approach so you could use it as well. In a small way it can help to promote Gridcoin with articles that look a bit better.

Below I have added the HTML text in image format but I have also uploaded the ASCII text on Github and you can download it here.

Gridcoin section

The first paragraph of the footer is for Gridcoin. The key element is the Gridcoin logo location which is in my footer on the right side and can be set with the comment class="pull-right" followed by the image. The text will start next to the logo on the left side.

BOINC section

Next is the BOINC paragraph. Again, the key element is the BOINC logo location which is in my footer on the left side and can be set with the comment class="pull-left" followed by the image. The text will start now next to the logo on the right side.

Applying HTML text only in your footer will allow you to produce the main section of your article in standard Steemit text format. Although it is not too difficult to apply HTML for the complete post, which I sometimes do, it will take more time to format it.

Once you have created your own version of the footer, you can copy-paste it in any future article.

BOINC (Berkeley Open Infrastructure for Network Computing) is a distributed Internet platform and was launched beginning of 2002 and it rewards participants with credits for performed work. BOINC is an application available for multiple Operating Systems and uses the unused CPU and GPU cycles on computers to perform scientific work.
