My Trade On The Reddit Gridcoin Market Was Succesful!
Hoi Steemit! So you may have heard a few posts back that there was a new Gridcoin Marketplace on Reddit. It's really cool and I'd recommend you go check it out, I also thank everyone that liked that post, I made the most from that one post than I have ever on Steemit. I also got a bunch of followers, we're now at 42! Welp I'm just here to tell you that the transaction was succesful, and besides some hiccups with buying the giftcard, worked very well. Again, I'm only concerned about trust issues. However, I trust reddit, and I think that most people on their wouldn't steal from others.
The one thing is though is that if someone does steal than there should be some sort of punishment, a way of forcing them to pay up one way or another. I'm not sure what to do though and if you guys have any ideas, feel free to share with me or Market Grid directly

That seems like a very stupid way to lose money.
What is a stupid way to lose money? Trading directly between a user you have to trust? Not really, you can lose more money keeping it all on a centralized exchange. If you have issues with trust you can find escrow.
I dont trust people in general, i dont trust people when it comes to money, and i specifically distrust anything that has to be with cryptocurrencies. It would be good if Bitshares had a way to reverse direct trade. Seems like a huge market for that.
Do you trust the Bitshares wallet?
Its like a normal wallet if you hold bitshares, and the rest are crypto backed by bitshares. Its not the safest, but is as far as you can get. And it is working dam good for the moment.
Currently the Bitshares gateway for Gridcoin is broken and has been for a while. Aside from the gateway issue, the markets themselves can have black swan events, which is something unforeseen. I wouldn't consider it working well at all, actually. The Bitshares wallet requires you to trust it more than the Gridcoin wallet will when you are using it to directly send coins to another wallet on the Gridcoin network.
Thats true. But when you are using bitshares, its the same as any regular wallet.
