A new project called "rain"
Sorry if this is short or just stupid, but it just came to me and i had to jot it down.
What if we had a project that we could crunch on be like a pool but a pooled project, i.e, a project that benefits the cruncher and everybody crunching it as well.
Where mag and rac are shared and its up to the individual how much computing they want to contribute to said project.
Its like a starter project for beginners or cruncher that decided to leave a pool.
The project could be an umbrella helping all sorts of science or a project that when need be, be applied to whatever the user [somebody who needs computing power] needs crunched.
Just a thought ive been thinking on for a while.
Most likely not feasible but still an idea that adds to what GRC is about, volunteering computing power for science and the betterment of others.
