I also like to solo mine Gridcoin as I also like to have the contribution made under my name, not to mention that some projects also use your name for publications and posts when you find something interesting, like in Primegrid if you find a prime or in GPUGrid where you get a badge for being part of a contribution, so solo mining is the way to go for me too.
