Is this to get an idea of who likes what (market survey) or a poll to make a choice about the future (decision)?
If it's a market survey I find it a strange choice to use the coin poll mechanism. No-one in the pool can vote. Many active members are in the pool.

pool has limitations, yes, people joining it should be made aware of such
Let me put it another way. People voting, some with lots of power, aren't necessarily using the communications platform. People without voting power (pool users) are.
Anyway, it won't influence the coin. People will use whatever they want.
