Interest in Gridcoin is growing
In recent time it looked to me as if the interest in gridcoin is growing.
To analyse this feeling I used google trends which shows that a clearly trend for the search term gridcoin!

Looked at it a bit. Well, maybe they have a fighting chance. Gaming is a great market and as long as they continue to develope it further, wtg. Got 1600 VOX for my portfolio : )

What do you think is causing the increase in Gridcoin?
There are more than 4 million registered BOINC users. They are running BOINC completely for free, for many years now, maybe even a full decade. And now, they can turn a slight profit, just by installing Gridcoin. This is just the beginning.
On the other hand, plenty of noobs find Ethereum, Ripple and many other 'top coins' too abstract and they probably think those trains departed long ago anyway. But Gridcoin's point is clear to everybody - compute for science, get rewarded. Even if you don't make much money, you still have that 'feel good' effect.
Good question! Gridcoin was one of the few coins in the green on poloniex in the last few days and has made it to a new all-time high.
Maybe this attracts new investors. But I'm just guessing :)

I've never really heard about it until now. Technically it sounds interesting to me.
But I'm always very critical with coins that sell tokens BEFORE they actually deliever a product.
I won't invest until I see a good working product.
But that's only my humble opinion :D
