There have been more than 10'000 claims for free coins and more than 2,772 Gridcoins (worth about 300 USD) have been distributed. The faucet is dry at the moment. I have to wait until I get my steemit Payouts to buy some more Gridcoins.

I'm brand new to gridcoin and have taken advantage of this faucet to the tune of about 4 GRC so far. I thank everyone who supports efforts like this. It is quite frustrating when you are new and little drips from a faucet like this encourages us newbies and keeps us going through the slow, rough beginning.
