team challenge: SETI@Home (August 4-9)

The SETI@home challenge "Holiday Crunch" has started:

• 2017-08-04 16:00 UTC
• 13 BOINC teams have signed up so far

What do you need to do?          

• All Gridcoin users just need to crunch the WUs from SETI (which is a whitelisted project).
• Check out available/in-progress WUs here.

You will find updated analysis/news when this challenge starts below:        

• 9h before challenge starts: 645k WUs available + more than 4.4 million WUs still in BOINC clients
• after 48 mins: 65k users take part, and team Gridcoin is at 2nd position (see pic here)
• after 15.5h we are number 1 :-) see below picture (with 28%)
• after 42h: we have increased the distance, we have generated 29% of all credits
• we have won also this challenge (satisfying also that we are before both SETI teams ;-))
