More devs is always good news. Actually, 1 joined some months ago, but the news about him since then was not so much :-( But there have been recently positive news, see ravon in https://github.com/gridcoin/Gridcoin-Research/commits/master
I'm experimenting with using boost::flyweight for the strings (CPID, address etc) in the blocks. Instead of repeating the same strings over and over again you can store the strings in RAM once and then just refer to them in later blocks. I'm hoping that there's enough repetition in the blocks that this will help save RAM for low end devices.
