A month or two ago I put through a hangout expense for GRC, and have lazily put off a transparency report until now.
The final distribution ended up primarily aimed at services, peppernrino, erkan and myself. There was leftover funds which were allocated towards attendees but these were refunded after taking too long to carry out this task (nor did we prior to expense proposal define what/how to qualify for such earnings).

I did not reward the attendees, because this increased the complexity of qualifying users for reward. I have instead refunded the left over 6362.6 GRC (half the attendees, the other for 1/3 of interview funds not allocated a proper purpose).

Future funding proposals
We have not held any further BOINC interviews however we have continued our fortnightly GRC hangouts, thus a further proposal will potentially be required or we could simply rely on steem income (which isn't too bad, especially if Rino was to post the soundcloud/youtube announcement whilst I handle the RSVP thread (thus we split the steem presence).
Any ideas for fund usage? Purchasing microphones for potential attendees off amazon wishlists?

That's great to hear! Also, it's worth keeping in mind that what you are achieving 'mining' GRC is far greater than just earning cryptocurrency - you are making significant contributions to science.

Oh don't you worry - GRC is still doing very well and will rebound significantly with all the projects and improvements currently in the works! =)
