This was a much need conference as far as I'm concerned. I hope they can work out some better mining solutions as far as pools and payouts go! Wiling they be streaming the conference per chance? Is there a way we can get a transcript of the meeting minutes or something?

This is specifically a BOINC conference, not a dedicated Gridcoin conference. That said, there will certainly be discussions about opening BOINC's doors to cryptocurrency in the future.
I'm not sure about streaming, but I'll be recording stuff via microphone at least.
I'll look into the minutes & coverage.
