Named after a famous Bush Ranger, Ned Kelly , this hybrid Grevillea is a very popular Garden plant in Australia. It is also called the Spider flower. 
It grows to about 1.5 metres ( 5 to 6 foot) tall and has a very long flowering season. It is fast growing, and benefits from an occasional hard pruning to stop the plant becoming too woody and encourage more flowering. The reddish colored flowers attract many birds because their flowers contain nectar- a sugary like liquid which the birds love. There are many varieties of Grevillea ranging from tall trees to ground covering shrubs. They are native to Australia.
