Greendot prepaid cards are a ripoff and poor csr
Well at $8 a piece as well as buying one for $2 that means that $10 right away is eating up whatever money you put on one of these cards.
Let alone when you call for customer service and try to get some help with your account bounce you around to different operators and then on top of it don't help you at all.
On top of it they also record you however when you point that out they freak out and hang up the phone.
I am slowly working my way through the customer service system until I actually hit somebody in charge.
Out of nearly 10 operators interacted with only one of them receives a passable grade at customer service relations.
Speaking to the manager apparently is the only way to get anything done on your account however the far majority of operators are unable or unwilling to even answer a simple question let alone interact or establish a bond with the customer.
The way they train these individuals instills a sense of apathy as well as a severe case of insincerity.
It is definitely my opinion that this company should be avoided at all costs and if you ever need a service like this please do your research very carefully before getting one of these cards as it has just been a waste of time effort and funds.
I will be continuing to do the series on the poor customer service of this company.
Again so far I have seen absolutely no positive benefits to the service and as well I have been prevented from using the funds on the card as I need to.
