Venice of Greece
A couple of hour outside Athens, Greece there is a small villa complex called Porto Hydra Village. Its special feature is that it has channels and 2 small islands, while all the channels lead out to the sea. Everyone can park their boat right outside their home, having direct access for a quick visit across to Hydra and Spetses islands.
Sometimes if you get lucky you can catch the sunset right across one of the channels giving a unique feeling like you are in Venice.
Having been there most summers of my life, it's one of my favorite places to be, especially during summer time. Only the first picture is one of my own, but i wish i had taken the other two also, as all of them manage to show why this place means this much for me.
