Greece : * reason to be my next travel destination

Ohh Greece. The land of the heroes, the house of the Gods.
Greece is considered the cradle of Western civilization, being the birthplace of democracy, Western philosophy, the Olympic Games, Western literature, historiography, political science, major scientific and mathematical principles, and Western drama. Aren't these enough for you to make the ''big'' decision and go?! :D

There are tons of reasons to travel to Europe and one surely one of them is Greece.
This beautiful country is full of kind people, lots of sight seeings and places. It's sure you'll be amazed by its great history, its magical landscapes and the activities you can have there.
I've tried to limit myself to the top 5 reason but I can assure you that there are many more!

1. PARTHENON! This great temple that is dedicated to the goddess Athena, whom the people of Athens considered their patron, is one of the most interesting historical places you can ever visit. If you are a history lover you should definitely visit the Parthenon, at least once!

2. The tropical islands! Greece is the land of islands which they all have different ''stories'', history, nature, temples. There are some beautiful beaches that are waiting for you, where you can relax and escape from the loud, busy life of your town. Get ready, where your most comfortable clothes, or not, and go and have the best holidays of your life!

3. The food!!! Like Greeks say: ''Love passes through the stomach'', so that's why I'm in love with this country so much!
   Food there is much better and healthier not only because recipes have been perfected over time, by generations of Greek families, but because Greek food is based on fresh products. Greek cuisine has a culinary tradition of some 4,000 years and is a part of the history and the culture of Greece.

4. Great Climate! Greece has a remarkable range of micro-climates and local variations. The climate of Greece is mediterranean with summers that are usually hot and dry, and the winters that can be quiet cold and wet. This is a reason that you can visit Greece not only in summer, but in winter too. Olympus, ''the house of Gods'', is a great winter destination if you are planing to travel this time of the year.

5. The nightlife! If you like nightlife, Greece is a destination that can offers you plenty. Wherever you decide to travel in Greece, even is an island even is Athens or Olympus, you'll always find some nightlife. ''Bouzoukia'' is a must!!! Have a good shower, get dressed and go out and have some fun. Just be sure you are ready to deal with table dances, flowers and broken plates!
