Enormous destruction! Everyone is scared right now!
The rain-clouds crashed into the wrong side of the Andes, causing giant flash-floods and mudslides all the way down to the sea destroying everything in its path. If I go offline in the near future is because the grid will be off as everything is hydro electric power-plants around here.

Right now the city is without clean water, we hope the electric grid will stay online but anything can happen as these water-masses are coming down one of the greatest mountain ridge in the world. What is the next disaster to happen is what people around here wonder about right now. Please pray for Peru!

yeah, we all hope there wont come more rain. That rain only lasted 20 minutes, and caused all kinds of problems. We don´t have a complete overview yet, government has set up a service to report missing people etc.. Everyone is standing in line to get water from water-trucks that are used to water plants in the parks.
Damn man. I hope you stay safe and dry there. I'm watching all the videos now and it looks mighty insane at the moment. I hope the gov't can get the services up and running asap. Let me know if anything else happens following it all closely.

Right now we don t know where "safe" is, but looking over the topography we should be relatively safe. There is a road (that used to be a river) that goes down to the ocean two blocks from here. Hopefully we wont have to evacuate if this escalates.
Not a word of this on our news, which is busy worrying about every move Trump makes.
