That sending address was used to burn Gridcoin Classic into Gridcoin Research, I received coins from that address too. TX b2b1d158915834f857fc8b6a846e99d1b222c07022ddbb20f9302d5b7e2aa7d3.
Whats important is that no amounts from votes have been staked, or transferred to anyone. As I recall, voting didnt start til later on, I cant be bothered to look up when.
Thank you for your time, I've got the answers I needed (both for the address and for staking) and closed the subject by writing on the top of the post just that!
