Be Joyful Always
Life might looks cruel but it's never unless we believe it's.
The ways of man are certainly not of God. I don't feel like going to church yesterday even after my friend woke me up I still told him NO. Without any pressure or push I stood up from bed and straight ahead I got myself ready for the service.
Over the weekend I was aim for a job and it's a three days screening (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). I went there with a positive mind but not a desperate thinking of landing the job. We have more than enough qualified candidate for the job who are on ground for the screening.
I went for Sunday service and I got the need message for the moment. The man of God talks about the reason to always rejoice, laugh and also to be full of Joy. He also shared someone testimony that was expecting a good news but got a sorry news. He told us the guy wasn't bother because he was over joyous even before he got the news and that doesn't allow sadness to find a way into him. I take from those words and I don't even bother about what might be the outcome of the job screening.
Some of his words:
- Laugh always even when the situation doesn't calls for it
- Rejoice in all things
- Sing psalms at difficult moment and even at the most beautiful moment
He made mention of having protection and deliverance in a joyous mind. There is a different between Protection and deliverance.
Protection is not having a feel of evil occurrence, while Deliverance is having a feeling of it but not partaking for the negative outcome.
- Joy is the state of an expected heart
- Deliverance for testimony
Hr also talks about the Nigeria situation which most times is full of comedy. According to him a Nigerian must always learn to be happy and laugh always. Even our rulers makes comedy out of the hardship in the land.
Rev.Eboda is a seasoned pastor, lecturer, teacher and blessed of God with word of wisdom.
