GRATITUDE DAY 21/62: MY SISTER
Good morning everyone @gratitudeday21. Hope you had a wonderful night?
My appreciation goes to God for my sister, the lastie of the house. Her name is Oluwatosin (meaning God is worth serving). I watched her when she was born, and now growing up to become a girl of her own.
I remembered when she was born,I would carry her on my back, wouldn't let anyone touch my baby girl. Smiles. Eventually she will fall at my back crying. I felt pity for her then. She is very close to my parents. They wouldn't allow us beat or scold her. They will say "please leave her alone, she is the lastborn".
I wonder why last born are cherished and cared for more than the first born. I would watch her grow, playing around the compound, giving her some tutorials even when I was in my Junior class then.
Now she is a big girl as she would say, I smiled and see the big girl indeed in her. I would call her and advise her that education is the best legacy. If you want me to still be your sister, don't mingle with bad friends that won't add value to your life instead push you to the pit and then leave you to care for yourself.
I will tell her, guys outside never offers something good rather they look for who they will destroy and leave. Face your studies and get a good husband in the future. That is always my word for her everyday so she will not go astray from it.
