MY GRATITUDE DAY POST: THANKING GOD FOR GOOD HEALTH.

I got to know about @tojukaka's #gratitudeday handle since it's day two. As cool as the concept is, i felt i owe no one any thanks because many of my friends had deserted me in my time of need.

Few minutes later a call came in from my cousin- my elder brother had just dislocated his left hip

Right from the hospital environment at O.L.A Catholic hospital, Oluyoro, Ibadan, i began to have reasons to be grateful to God.

I spent just a night in Room7 the private ward, but the lessons i learnt about life will be enough for a lifetime.

The shouts of emergencies and agony of those who lost their loved ones overwhelmed me. I immediately and unceasingly sang the praises of God for life. Many there are running from pillar to post, thinking of how to foot hospital bills while i grumble and murmur for not getting the designer cloth i wanted.

My brother is still lying on his bed, though he's now able to move his legs. I hope and pray for quick recovery for him.

I ask the Lord to forgive and grant me pardon for those times i failed to be contented with the most precious gift he gives me - LIFE.

LORD, TOMFREEMAN IS GRATEFUL FOR LIFE!!!
