MISSION TRIP TO HONDURAS - BANANA BOAT RIDE
On Friday we returned from the Children's Village around 5 PM. The day had been hot and everyone was ready to cool down. The girls especially were looking for a fun adventure. We all walked down to the beach behind the hotel. When a local man approached about the banana boat ride, I bartered a good price and the girls all went to get their swimsuits on.
Ready to get in the water
They came down all excited for the fun time out in the Caribbean. The smiles were big as the life preservers were put on and they waded out into the water. The leader of the boat asked me about wiping out and the girls getting soaked, I said, "of course, that's part of the fun."
All set for the ride, hold on tight!!
On past mission trips I have rode the banana boat and loved it, so I knew the girls would have a blast. And hitting the water would feel great as we were all still very hot. So off they went for the fun ride of the week!!

As you hear in the video above, the girls indeed were tossed from the banana boat twice. All after they were given a nice ride around the bay. They had a wonderful time!!
